Job Title: Corporate Banking Summer Analyst Program (Internship)

Employer: Truist Inc. (Truist Securities)

Job Type: This is a Temporary position, structured as a 10-week internship program. It is designed as a pipeline to Truist’s full-time programs.

Work Shift & Language: The internship requires a 1st shift schedule (United States of America) and mandates English language fluency.

Location: This specific role is for Truist’s Houston, TX office.

Program Overview:
The Truist Internship offers college students a 10-week immersive experience to enhance their professional skills. Interns will engage in summer-long projects alongside other students and experienced full-time teammates. The program provides ample opportunities for networking with fellow interns, teammates, and senior leaders. Participants are expected to sharpen their leadership, technical, and business skills, which are foundational for future careers.

The Corporate Banking Summer Analyst Program specifically includes:
Activities: Networking socials, case studies, presentations, and team-building projects.
Executive Speaker Series: Opportunities to interact with senior leaders, including the CEO and Corporate Banking Senior Leaders.
Community Service: Encouraged participation in various volunteer initiatives.
Interactions: Opportunities to engage with other groups and disciplines across the investment bank.
Competitive Summer Analysts demonstrating strong performance will be considered eligible to receive an offer for a full-time Analyst position upon graduation.

Key Responsibilities & Learning Opportunities:
The Corporate Banking Summer Analyst program aims to provide interns with exposure to multiple disciplines within corporate banking. Interns will:
Sharpen financial analysis skills.
Develop an understanding of corporate markets and clients.
Gain experience in corporate finance and with corporate banking products through hands-on training.
• Play a meaningful role in supporting both internal and external clients.
Assignments will primarily be within the Corporate Banking groups, fostering interaction with other banking divisions.

Corporate Banking (Context):
The Corporate Banking team operates under Truist Securities and is responsible for providing coverage banking services to corporate clients. These clients are typically mid to large-cap sized private and public companies, segmented by industry vertical. Services include corporate finance and specialized product offerings. Corporate Banking Analysts specifically support their industry-focused teams and senior Corporate Bankers through tasks such as:
Due diligence
Document processing
Financial modeling
Statistical analysis
Research
Presentation development

Minimum Requirements:
Final graduation with a BA/BS degree in December 2026 or June 2027.
Proven analytical ability and meticulous attention to detail.
Solid leadership and interpersonal skills.
Superior written and oral communication skills.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Preferred Requirements:
Business major.
Overall GPA of 3.0 or higher.
Strong interest in finance and investment banking.
• Prior completion of Accounting or Finance coursework.
High degree of academic and extracurricular achievement.
Willingness to commit substantial time and energy to the program.
