Job Description (COOP Careers Fellowship)
This is a detailed description of the COOP Careers Fellowship, a career accelerator program rather than a traditional job. It is designed for individuals seeking to break into or advance their careers in data analytics or digital marketing within the tech sector.

The fellowship offers a structured pathway to gain in-demand skills and industry connections. It targets individuals who are either unemployed, underemployed, or looking to transition into a career that utilizes their bachelor’s degree, particularly within the tech field.

Program Schedule:
• Availability: Participants must be available four evenings a week.
• Days: Monday – Thursday
• Time: 6:30 PM – 9:30 PM
Eligibility Criteria (“About you”):
Candidates for the COOP Careers Fellowship must meet the following requirements:
1. Education:
• Must have earned a bachelor’s degree within the last 10 years; OR
• Will be earning a bachelor’s degree before August 14, 2025.
2. Location: Must live within a two-hour commuting distance to the San Francisco Bay Area.
3. Employment Status: Must be unemployed (and legally authorized to work in the U.S.); OR underemployed, meaning their current job description does not require a bachelor’s degree.
4. Work Authorization: Must be a U.S. citizen or legally authorized to work in the U.S. (e.g., permanent resident, employment authorization, DACA recipient).
5. Availability: Must be available four evenings a week (Monday-Thursday, 6:30-9:30 PM).
6. Age: Will be at least 21 years of age by August 14, 2025.
Additional Criteria (Candidates must identify with at least ONE of these):
• First-generation college graduate: This means the applicant (or a sibling) is the first in their immediate family (parents or grandparents) to earn a bachelor’s degree in the United States.
• Financial aid recipient: The applicant qualified for either a Pell Grant or state need-based financial aid through most of their college career.
