Job Description

Levy Restaurants is a leading presence in the Food, Beverage, and Retail industry across 200 plus Entertainment, Sports, and Restaurant venues across the country. They are looking for current and recent graduates in Culinary arts programs to work with Levy Restaurants with the Tennessee Titans. The position is for a “Directs, coordinates and evaluates assigned kitchen, food production and food-service associates.”

The job entails:

• Coordinating and participating in activities of cooks and other associates engaged in preparing, cooking and serving food.
• Ensuring all food handling, sanitation and customer service standards are met.
• Efficiently preparing high-quality food items according to standardized recipes to meet production, delivery and service schedules.
• Serving meals or preparing for delivery.
• Ensuring proper presentation, food quality, portion control and maintenance of proper serving temperatures.
• Tracking food use, waste and consumption to requisition or purchase product.
• Receiving and inspecting product and supplies for quality and quantity to ensure appropriate inventory.
• Maintaining sanitation of equipment, supplies and utensils.
• Cleaning workstation thoroughly before leaving area.
• Keeping display equipment clean and free of debris during meal service to ensure compliance with sanitation, safety, production and merchandising requirements.
• Helping select and develop recipes and menus.
• Performing other duties as assigned.

The internship will also include rotational training in the following back of house areas:

• Catering: Big event- Bulk food production
• Purchasing: Warehouse-food rotation
• Premium: Chef table development and execution
• Financial: Product cost month end inventory, managing budgets, data and analytics
