Your Journey & About the Role

As a Cook III, you will be responsible for the meticulous preparation of both hot and cold dishes, ensuring they consistently meet our hotel’s esteemed high standards. You will bring your love for creating dishes and storytelling through food to every plate, passionately striving to provide exceptional guest service and crafting memorable moments. This role requires an individual who is open to continuous learning and development, both personally and in supporting the growth of others, all while embodying trustworthiness and integrity.

Key Responsibilities:

Preparation Excellence: Prepare hot and cold foods that consistently meet our hotel’s high standards.
Culinary Mastery: Maintain in-depth knowledge of food products, sanitation standards, and culinary techniques to execute dishes at the highest level, strictly following kitchen protocols.
Timely Execution: Fulfill guest orders efficiently and accurately with skillful attention to detail.
Collaborative Environment: Work effectively within a team, maintaining professionalism in a collaborative kitchen setting.
Guest Satisfaction: Deliver on guests’ expectations and possess a strong desire to create “WOW” moments.
Adaptability: Perform additional duties as assigned, which may extend beyond the normal scope of duties based on business needs.

Must Haves:

Flexibility: Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
Team Player: Ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
Experience: One year minimum of experience in a standalone restaurant or hotel environment (a plus).
Luxury Background: Luxury hotel experience (a plus).

Physical Requirements:

Dexterity: Grasping, holding, and repetitive motions.
Mobility: Ability to stand and exercise mobility for extended periods of time during your scheduled shift.
Lifting: Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly and for extended periods during the shift.
Push/Pull: Ability to push and pull food serving equipment and carts weighing up to 200 pounds on a semi-regular basis.
Environmental Adaptability: Most work tasks are performed indoors where the temperature is moderate and controlled by hotel environmental systems. However, you must be able to work in extreme temperatures such as freezers (-10°F) and kitchens (+110°F).
