Description: This position requires a skilled contract professional to support capture efforts, contract administration, and lead contract negotiations of MFC proposals/ IWTAs primarily in support of the F-35 Sensors Program.
Responsibilities:
• Representing the organization as a prime contact on contracts or projects.
• Interacting with senior internal and external personnel on significant matters often requiring coordination between organizations.
• Developing solutions to a variety of complex problems.
• Exercising influence on the overall objectives and long-range goals of the organization.
• Participating in determining objectives of assignment.
• Planning schedules and arranging own activities in accomplishing objectives.
Qualifications:
• Basic Qualifications:
• Active Secret Clearance
• Ability to lead teams and interpret RFPs and contract terms
• Experience with Lockheed Martin Contracts processes
• Ability to comprehend complex financial and business concepts
• Experience with proposal preparation, coordinating and participating in management reviews, proposal submission, fact-finding, contract negotiations, contract award and execution.
• Computer skills including Word, Excel and PowerPoint, ECE, DMS
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Detail and teamwork oriented with excellent organizational skills
• Strong leadership skills
• Ability to travel domestically and/or internationally
• Desired Skills:
• Experience with working with IWTAs, Development and Production Contracts.
• Demonstrated ability to build and maintain high value customer relationships.
• Versatility and flexibility in demanding situations.
• Superior leadership characteristics.
Other Important Information:
• This position requires a government security clearance and US Citizenship.
• This is a full-time position with a 4×10 hour day schedule and 3 days off per week.
• Part-time remote telework is available, the specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
