• Mission: Own all dimensions of public and private contract administration, from negotiation to product delivery, ensuring compliance and efficient deal flow.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Provide Guidance: Offer guidance to business teams on contract processing, collaborating with geographically dispersed teams to ensure efficient deal flow and timely, compliant negotiation and execution.
• Draft and Negotiate Documents: Draft, review, compile, and negotiate (in coordination with the business) client-facing contractual documents, NDAs, teaming agreements, and contract renewals.
• Manage Contract Terms: Assist or lead the negotiation of contract terms from the proposal stage through project close-out, in accordance with relevant regulations.
• Prepare State Proposals: Prepare Florida Department of Transportation price proposals and audit packages.
• Ensure Compliance and Advise: Review solicitation requests for contractual and commercial compliance, coordinate approvals for negotiations and contracts, and provide advice on contract requirements and risk mitigation strategies.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in business administration or a related field, or a Master’s degree in a related field.
• Experience: A minimum of eight years of relevant experience, or six years with a Master’s degree. Must demonstrate knowledge and working familiarity with State law and regulations, with experience in multiple contract types, performance-based contracting, and professional services.
• Skills: Good analytical and organizational skills, ability to manage multiple tasks within tight time constraints, and capability to perform mathematical calculations and utilize PC and applicable software.
• Bonus: Contracts Management credentials from NCMA preferred. Prior experience with Design/Build contracts is preferred, along with advanced knowledge of Design Build contract risks and interpretations, including Progressive Design Build (Designer perspective).
