Job Description

This is an entry-level Contracts Management position. You will be responsible for negotiating, administering, extending, terminating, and renegotiating both standard and nonstandard contracts.

Your responsibilities will include:

Negotiating and Administering Contracts: You will be involved in the negotiation process, ensuring final contract documents align with agreed-upon terms. You will also manage the administration of contracts, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations and timely implementation by all parties.
Evaluating Contract Performance: You will analyze contract performance to determine the need for amendments or extensions.
Maintaining Communication: You will be responsible for effective communication with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth contract execution.
Training: You may be involved in planning and delivering training on contract practices and negotiations to company personnel.

Qualifications

To be considered for this position, you must have:

• A bachelor’s degree in business administration, international studies, law, or a related field.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• The ability to establish strong working relationships with internal and external customers.

• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Experience working in team environments.
• A desire to work independently and take on increased responsibility as you grow.
• Strong business acumen to effectively negotiate business deals.

Security Clearance:

This position requires a government security clearance. You must be a US citizen to be considered. The required clearance level is Secret.

Work Schedule:

This position offers a 4×10-hour work schedule, providing you with three days off per week. Lockheed Martin also supports a variety of alternative work schedules, including remote telework opportunities.
