Job Description: Contracts and Subcontracts Management Intern (Summer 2025)
Millennium Space Systems is seeking highly motivated interns for the summer of 2025 to contribute to the development of affordable, high-reliability space systems. Ideal candidates will have demonstrated practical problem-solving abilities through hobbies, academic projects, or prior internships.
This internship offers hands-on experience in contracts and subcontracts processes within the aerospace and defense (A&D) industry. Interns will work closely with experienced team members, contributing to the success of national security space small satellite missions. The role involves:
• Executing contract closeouts: Collaborating with other program functions to complete contract closure processes.
• Contract research and administration: Supporting various contract-related administrative tasks and research.
• Assisting with Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs): Helping in the preparation and management of NDAs.
• Assisting with indirect procurements: Supporting the preparation and management of indirect procurement processes.
• Data management in Costpoint: Managing and recording data within the Costpoint system.
• Supporting government audit activities: Assisting with activities related to government audits.
Minimum Qualifications:
• Current enrollment in a bachelor’s or master’s degree program in Business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field.
• Active enrollment in an accredited post-secondary program with at least one semester or quarter remaining upon internship completion.
• Strong interest in contracts and subcontracts management within the A&D industry.
• Strong work ethic and interpersonal skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Compensation: $20.67/hr – $43.27/hr
Important Notes: Millennium is a DDTC-registered, ITAR-compliant company. This position requires special access; applicants must be U.S. citizens eligible for a security clearance and willing to obtain and maintain one.
