Contracting Operations Intern | Aledade

The Tone:
This is an internship at Aledade, located remotely. Aledade empowers independent primary care providers by creating value-based contracts that move away from the traditional fee-for-service model. This role is critical in ensuring the accuracy of submissions to CMS, directly impacting practices’ ability to participate in essential Medicare programs and helping Aledade achieve its mission of better patient care.

• Mission: This person ensures the accuracy and completeness of practice submissions to CMS, critically enabling practices to join the MSSP with Aledade.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Quality Assurance: Perform thorough Quality Assurance on practice submissions to CMS for the Medicare Shared Savings Program (MSSP).
• Documentation Verification: Verify that all submitted paperwork accurately aligns with the details provided on each application.
• ACO Alignment: Confirm that each submission has been correctly made to its intended Accountable Care Organization (ACO).
• Submission Tracking: Ensure every practice with a signed Participation Agreement (PA) has a corresponding CMS submission.
• Agreement Distribution: Assist with the high-volume and time-sensitive task of sending reshuffle Participation Agreements (PAs) to existing practices.
