Job Description:
This internship within the Studio Finance department, reporting to the Director of Content Valuation, involves analyzing TV licensing agreements and sales data to update valuation rate cards. Responsibilities include:
• Data Analysis: Analyzing TV licensing agreements and sales data to inform updates to valuation rate cards.
• Database Management: Coordinating and maintaining the database that stores content licensing valuation results.
• Reporting: Preparing ad-hoc reports using Excel, PowerPoint, and Tableau. This includes participating in projects and presentations to senior management.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Experience with budget and forecasting analysis.
• Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong data analytics skills and the ability to clearly present findings.
• Demonstrated ability to thrive in fast-paced environments, stay organized under pressure, and balance multiple projects simultaneously, adapting priorities as needed.
Preferred Skills and Qualifications:
• Prior experience working in the entertainment industry.
• Experience with R, Tableau, and Alteryx.
Education Requirements:
• Must be enrolled in an accredited college/university and taking at least one class in the semester/quarter (spring/fall) prior to the internship, OR have graduated within 6 months of applying, OR be currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Internship.
• Studying in Finance, Accounting, Business, Entertainment, or a related field.
Eligibility Requirements:
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must not have completed one year of continuous employment on a Disney internship or program.
• Must possess unrestricted work authorization.
Additional Information:
• Internship dates are approximately May/June 2025 through August/September 2025.
• Requires a 40-hour work week, Monday-Friday, 9 am – 6 pm PST, on-site in Burbank, CA.
• Interns must provide their own housing and reliable transportation.
• The pay rate is $22 per hour. Select benefits may be offered.
