Content Marketing Intern | BizDepot Brokers

The Tone:
This is a part-time internship at BizDepot Brokers, located remotely in the U.S. BizDepot is an M&A and business brokerage firm, facilitating seven, eight, and nine-figure transactions since 2003, with roots in the Bay Area and scaling nationally. This role is crucial for building the firm’s modern brand and inbound demand engine, creating high-stakes content that directly drives revenue by attracting business owners selling companies worth millions and acquirers buying them. You’ll contribute to an effort that aims to transform the M&A industry’s brand presence through modern, audience-driven content.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Write long-form educational content, including blog posts and articles, for sellers, buyers, and acquisition entrepreneurs.
• Produce short-form video content specifically for platforms like TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and LinkedIn.
• Develop ad scripts, ad copy, email sequences, and lead magnet content across paid and organic marketing channels.
• Assist in creating diverse ad creatives by contributing to writing, filming concepts, and copy development.
• Test, measure, and iterate on content performance to optimize what drives actual wins and conversions.
• Help launch and optimize growth campaigns designed for the firm’s AI SaaS tools.
• Participate in real M&A calls to ensure content accurately reflects the concerns and interests of business owners.

The Must-Haves
• Background: A junior or senior studying marketing, communications, journalism, film, creative writing, or any related creative field.
• Experience: A portfolio, body of work, or clear examples of creative content you have actually shipped.
• Skills: Algorithmic instinct for understanding why content performs, a natural taste for what actually lands with an audience, and a hunger to work on high-stakes content rather than consumer fluff.
