Job Description
Objective:
Reporting to the Chief Creative and Marketing Officer, the Content Creation and Social Media Intern will create engaging content across all client social media platforms; keep social media channels updated daily and brand-focused while constantly seeking out new creative and social media avenues and ways to connect with our audience. Also, this person will help develop and implement an online strategy for clients digital channels that maximizes the growth of traffic and online sales by creating a user-first guest experience that supports the companies’ brand and business objectives.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• This role will be *the• point-of-contact for our social media and creative team
• Work with our creative officer and contractors to provide rich content, on deadline sharing engaging content daily
• Assist the director as needed in developing our clients’ monthly content calendars to meet deadlines and communicate progress and changes
• Conceptualize and create engaging content with minimal supervision and often with quick turnarounds/timeframes with brand voice/identity
• Design and implement social media strategy to align with business goals
• Create, plan, and execute on monthly campaigns leveraging in house and freelance creators to express sales directives of brand while also maintaining and building engagement on social media channels
• Once projects are approved, act as liaison to traffic information between cross-functional teams to ensure project requests have all necessary elements to kick off projects, such as copy, creative assets, and marketing objectives
• Communicate project approvals, start/completion dates, progress reports, and expectations of delivery should completion date timing need to be amended
• Responsible for final editing approval before publishing content
• Produce and coordinate all aspects for photo, video and content shoots as expressed by director and to client specifications as well as all administrative duties tied to production and budgets
• Writing blog and website content for editorial articles and clients
• Booking and Negotiating rates for all freelancers and team involved in asset creation Models, hair, makeup, photographer, videographer, etc.
• Make sure all on set needs are met and support director in navigating a efficient workflow for the shoot
• Prepare any linesheets and/or brand deliverables and/or shot lists for shoot to make sure all content needs are met
• Create and plan daily content by aligning with the marketing team on priority of content
• Work closely with the Chief Marketing Officer to plan rollouts and drops according to client needs
• Brand/Content/ Best practices research. (Orbi, Dash hudson, Falcon.io)
• Help create decks for branded content campaigns and client proposals
• Manage and update production and deliverable bible
• Updating production calendars and tracking deliverables across multiple clients and platforms
• Manage and prioritize project tasks and team members/interns assigned as well
• Coordinate travel arrangements including detailed itineraries
• Complete and submit expense reports and budgets in line with shoots
• Create and compile content section of agendas for weekly meetings
• Stay on top of evolving social & digital trends and apply insights into a creative approach
• Ability to pivot and adjust quickly to schedule changes and creative direction
• Managing community engagement across all client channels
• Track performance, analytics, metrics and social engagement with weekly reporting to increase brand awareness, gain followers, and grow engagement
• Align with the digital ecom team to make sure social channels and content is properly planned and rolled out in line with any sales directives, newsletters and/or inventory adjustments
• Searching the web for influencers, podcasters and large audience holders on social media, create lists and contact them
• Copywriting across all social and digital channels including captions and ads
• Ideate, outline and implement social initiatives, new features across client channels to develop brand awareness and boost engagement like promotions and competitions
• Set specific objectives and reports on ROI and EMV Compiling, analyzing and distributing social data, insights, and reports.
• Ensure designs and content reflect consistently and positively the brand image and company ideals
• Stay up-to-date with current technologies and trends in social media, design tools and applications
• Measure and report on program performance, providing a monthly overview & recap.
