Job Description: Consumer Marketing Intern (Summer 2025)

The New York Post’s Consumer Marketing team is seeking a Summer intern (June 2, 2025 – August 8, 2025) to support its efforts in driving engagement and growth across various consumer products. This is a full-time, hybrid role. The internship offers hands-on experience contributing to real marketing initiatives and directly impacting the business.

Responsibilities:

Direct Marketing Campaign Support: Assisting with direct mail, inserts, paid social media, and print/digital advertising campaigns.
Paid Social Media Management: Managing paid social media campaigns, pitching new engagement ideas, measuring results, and staying abreast of market trends.
Promotional Materials & Event Support: Creating promotional materials and assisting with research and outreach for marketing events. Providing on-site support for events as needed.
Partnership Development: Identifying and compiling potential partnership opportunities to align with business goals.
Subscriber Engagement: Maintaining subscriber engagement through benefits programs, special offers, and giveaways.

Qualifications:

• Passion for consumer marketing, creativity, and understanding how major brands engage audiences.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize with attention to detail.
• Proactive mindset, comfortable working independently and collaboratively, contributing creative ideas.
• Keen interest in social media, digital marketing, and market trends.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of pitching ideas and supporting marketing efforts.
• Proficiency in analytics, reporting, and measuring campaign effectiveness.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Compensation: $16.50 – $16.50 per hour.
