Job Description: Consulting Intern

Wipfli consultants work closely with clients to help them optimize their value streams – the way they deliver value via products and services to their customers.
As a Consulting Intern, you will:
• Gain experience working with clients on various projects, including:
• Analysis, design, and implementation of Business Intelligence systems: Helping clients turn data into meaningful information to better serve critical business decisions.
• Creating compelling dashboards to communicate insights effectively: Utilizing tools like Tableau, Power BI, Qlik, and others for data visualization projects.
• Assisting with data collection and organization: Working with various data sources.
• Assisting senior mentors with client data management needs: Supporting data management efforts.
• Business analysis and project management: Working with industry software solutions in various sectors like Insurance, Health Care, Construction, and Manufacturing.
• Proactively engage in training and learning opportunities to enhance your skills.
Qualifications:
• Pursuing an undergraduate degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, Data Science, Business Analytics, or other related field of study.
• Above-average class performance: Demonstrated by a college GPA; a preferred GPA of 3.0 or higher.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in data manipulation and analysis using tools like Python, R, or SQL (preferred).
• Basic knowledge of data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Qlik) (preferred).
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to build and foster professional business relationships.
• Desire to help companies maximize value by leveraging technology and process improvement.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis upon hire. Wipfli will not consider candidates who require sponsorship for employment visa status now or in the future.
