Consulting Associate, EHS Management Information Systems (EMIS) | ERM
The Tone:
This is a Consulting Associate role within ERM’s expanding global Digital Services business. ERM is the largest pure-play sustainability consultancy, dedicated to creating innovative solutions for sustainability challenges and unlocking commercial opportunities for clients. This role is crucial for supporting business leaders in the successful selection, configuration, implementation, and sustainment of EHS and sustainability management information systems, directly contributing to significant impact on clients’ businesses.

What You’ll Actually Do
• System Evaluation & Selection: Evaluate EHS&S Management Information Systems available in the market and assist clients with defining system requirements and selecting software.
• Project Execution & Implementation: Implement EMIS software for clients by assisting with system configuration, integration, training, rollout, ongoing support, and enhancements.
• Technical Configuration & Deployment: Configure and deploy environmental health, safety, and sustainability solutions, including drafting design documents, configuring technical specifications, migrating data, and developing custom reports and interfaces.
• Training & Documentation: Prepare and present training to internal consultants and client system users, and participate in system support and training documentation teams.
• Subject Matter Expertise: Apply functional and technical skills to configure EMIS software and serve as a subject matter expert to provide an escalation point for production issues.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Early career professional with a university degree in Environmental Sciences, Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Management Information Systems, or Theoretical Business.
• Experience: Professional experience with software implementation is valued. Comprehensive training will be provided.
• Skills: Effective client communication, strong passion for sustainability and technology, ability to map and analyze end-to-end business processes, and the capability to facilitate change management issues.
• Bonus: A diversified information technology background with knowledge of EHS software, methodologies, and domains, and education or professional experience with EMIS platforms such as Enablon, Intelex, SAI Global EHS 360, Cority, or Sphera.
