Job Description:

This is a 12-week summer internship as a Construction Project Manager Intern at Trane Technologies. It’s designed to provide hands-on experience in construction project management, specifically focusing on energy-efficient building solutions. The internship offers opportunities to develop technical, business, leadership, and communication skills and could lead to a full-time position in Trane Technologies’ Graduate Training Program (GTP) after graduation.

Key Responsibilities May Include:

• Planning and coordinating assigned projects, including generating tasks, estimates, dependencies, milestones, CPM Analysis, and Histogram Analysis.
• Working with the engineering team to support engineering programming and material selection activities.
• Assisting in establishing and maintaining project budgets.
• Collaborating on preparations for subcontractor requests for quotations (RFQs).
• Receiving and qualifying subcontractor proposals and supervising their work.
• Communicating with contractors, subcontractors, owners, and team members regarding project scope, budgets, performance, and close-out.

Work Environment:

• The position is designated as a Hybrid work schedule, requiring onsite work 3 days per week.

Requirements:

• Actively enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s degree program. Preferred majors: Business, Sales, Entrepreneurship, Marketing, Engineering.
• Must have completed at least their sophomore or 2nd year before the internship.
• Knowledge of construction management processes, means, and methods.
• Must be a U.S. citizen or have the legal right to work in the U.S. without requiring sponsorship.
• Possess a valid driver’s license for a minimum of 12 months, ability to provide proof of insurance, and have a clean driving record.

Compensation:

• Pay Range: $22.50 – $30.00 per hour.
