The Tone:
This is a full-time role at Norris Associates, LLC. As a construction company, Norris Associates relies on meticulous legal and compliance support to maintain operational integrity across all projects. This role is crucial for managing essential legal documentation, ensuring regulatory adherence, and supporting strategic growth initiatives within the Legal & Compliance department, working to streamline processes and safeguard company interests.

• Team: Legal & Compliance, reporting to the Manager of Legal & Compliance.
• Mission: Ensure all legal documentation and compliance processes are efficiently managed to support the company’s strategic growth.
• Tech Stack: Procore, Salesforce, Service Titan, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel

What You’ll Actually Do
• Legal Documentation: Generate and review a range of legal documents, including new agreements, subcontract agreements, licensing contracts, and general compliance documentation.
• Compliance Management: Support the handling of employment and licensing agreements for license holders, ensuring full compliance with state and internal company requirements, and manage jurisdictional license renewals.
• Claims & Insurance Oversight: Review incident reports, update claims tracking, submit new claims, monitor their processing through to completion, and support insurance renewals and record keeping.
• System Administration & Records: Manage legal and compliance documentation within Procore, Salesforce, and Service Titan platforms to maintain accurate and accessible records.
• Cross-Functional Legal Support: Provide essential legal-related assistance to various departments, such as marketing, contributing to broader company growth and compliance efforts.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Experienced professional with a high school diploma and familiarity with legal documentation and compliance processes.
• Experience: At least 4 years in a law firm.
• Skills: Strong administrative and organizational capabilities, meticulous attention to detail, proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel, ability to manage competing priorities.
• Bonus: Prior experience within the construction industry.
