The Tone:

This role is essential for developing skills within the construction function of the REIT industry. The intern will gain valuable hands-on experience, supporting the team responsible for creating designs, estimates, and overseeing construction projects.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Estimating: Utilize Excel for various estimating tasks related to new construction, development, and redevelopment projects.
• Administration: Perform crucial administrative tasks, including processing pay applications, drafting change orders, and documenting meeting minutes.
• Coordination: Assist with tenant construction coordination to ensure the smooth execution of projects.
• Reporting: Prepare and submit detailed field reports and contribute to internal reporting processes.
• Research: Conduct diverse research tasks, such as examining previous construction projects for insights and performing preconstruction field research.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Currently pursuing a degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architectural Studies, or Project Management. Demonstrated knowledge in both construction and design principles is required.
• Experience: No specific prior work experience is stated; however, candidates must be currently pursuing a relevant degree for this 2026 Summer Internship Program.
• Skills: Proficiency in essential software including Microsoft Project, Microsoft Excel, and Bluebeam.
