This role offers exposure to the strategic and high-impact side of construction law, moving beyond routine file management to matters involving real strategy, significant financial stakes, and direct client influence.

• Mission: Support clients from project inception to completion, resolving complex issues and managing commercial risk on major construction developments.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Client Support: Support clients from project inception through to completion and beyond.
• Contract Management: Draft and negotiate construction contracts and project documentation.
• Project Advisory: Advise on live project issues including delays, disruption, variations, and payment disputes.
• Dispute Resolution: Work on arbitrations, mediations, and litigation tied to complex construction matters.
• Risk Strategy: Provide ongoing advice on risk, compliance, and project strategy.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Juris Doctor. Solid background in construction law, encompassing disputes, contracts, or a mix.
• Experience: Comfortable dealing with complex project issues and commercial risk.
• Skills: Strong technical drafting and communication skills; ability to operate independently while enjoying being part of a team; commercially aware and motivated to grow their practice long-term.
• Bonus: Exposure to public sector work, procurement, or regulatory elements.
