What You’ll Actually Do
• Conflicts Analysis: Undertake and analyze conflicts database searches for prospective and existing clients to highlight potential conflict issues for attorneys.
• Issue Resolution: Assist intake attorneys in clearing potential conflicts identified by the firm’s conflict system through communication with responsible attorneys.
• Waiver Drafting: Assist in the identification of conflicts of interest and help draft waivers for conflicts that clients or former clients may waive under professional conduct rules.
• Training and Development: Participate in training sessions for attorneys and staff regarding conflict screening and new client/matter intake processes.
• Risk Management Projects: Participate in special projects involving new business intake best practices and other risk management initiatives.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Requires a Juris Doctor (JD) and demonstrated knowledge of conflict-of-interest rules under the Rule of Professional Conduct.
• Experience: Desires 3+ years of prior experience as an attorney conducting conflict analysis, ideally within a large law firm environment.
• Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, analytical abilities, and organizational skills.
• Bonus: Experience with Intapp Open or related products is preferred.
