• Team: Reports to the Director of Conflicts & Intake, assisting the Conflicts/Intake team.
• Mission: This role ensures new business intake requests are accurate and free from conflicts of interest through meticulous research and data entry.
• Tech Stack: Outlook, Excel, Word, Elite 3E

What You’ll Actually Do
• Review and ensure the accuracy and completeness of new business intake requests.
• Collaborate with attorneys and their assistants to gather clear and comprehensive information required for conflict searches.
• Conduct thorough and accurate research of corporations, individuals, and governmental entities using multiple online resources to confirm submitted information.
• Prepare detailed conflict search logs with well-thought-out search criteria in Elite 3E for subsequent processing by Conflicts Analysts.
• Assist with the review, research, and preparation of conflict reports for lateral hires, and support the overall intake process as needed.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s Degree in any field, ideal for an entry-level graduate looking to get into the legal sector and build foundational skills in legal operations.
• Experience: No prior professional experience is explicitly required, as extensive training will be provided. Candidates must demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word, and possess the ability to maintain strict confidentiality in all aspects of their work.
• Skills: Excellent oral and written communication skills for effective interaction, strong organizational capabilities to manage an ever-changing to-do list, acute attention to detail and accuracy in data handling, and robust researching capabilities using various online resources. The ideal candidate will also be a self-starter, systematic, professional, adaptable, and curious.
