Computer Vision Software Internship for Summer 2026

THIS IS AN ONSITE POSITION BASED OUT OF FREMONT, CA

Job Description

We have a Summer Internship opportunity available in our Atmospheric Solutions Engineering organization.

What You’ll Do:

As a Computer Vision Software Intern, your tasks will be focused on developing and testing image processing algorithms used in our robotic systems. This work covers the entire pipeline, from data collection to training and testing models, as well as improving existing algorithms. Robotic projects at Brooks are multidisciplinary team efforts, providing you with the opportunity to work alongside electrical and mechanical engineers while developing your software piece.

What You’ll Bring:

  • Currently enrolled in a Computer Science (or similar) Undergraduate or Graduate Degree program.
  • Experience in Computer Vision and Image Processing algorithms such as object detection / tracking, segmentation analysis, and depth estimation.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and/or C++, C#.
  • Experience using GIT source control and containerization technologies.
  • Plus: Knowledge of current Deep Learning (DL) literature and the mathematical foundations of machine learning.
  • Plus: Experience in working on robotics and motion control related software.
