As an intern, you will be expected to innovate, collaborate, and deliver, bringing fresh ideas and owning exciting projects. Located at our Hilmar, CA site, you will gain exposure to real-life business situations and work on projects alongside our experienced employees. Position Responsibilities

As a Computer Science/IT Intern, you will actively contribute to our operations by:

  • Engaging in a hands-on technical project focused on a technological or process problem.
  • Gathering requirements, finding, and evaluating possible solutions.
  • Creating prototypes and troubleshooting derived solutions to technical challenges.
  • Utilizing your technical knowledge and problem-solving techniques with the assistance of your mentor.
  • Partnering with various teams, including security, networking, and infrastructure.
  • Developing an understanding of business operations from both a strategic and tactical perspective.

Minimum Requirements

We are looking for candidates who meet the following criteria:

  • Completion of sophomore year at a college or university.
  • Currently working towards a degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Basic knowledge of MS Office products: Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel.
  • Strong applied technical skills and analytical problem-solving skills.
  • Good oral and written communication skills.
  • Reliable transportation to and from work.

Physical Demands & Work Environment

This role occasionally requires prolonged walking or standing and the ability to lift, carry, or handle moderate weight objects on a regular basis. You will be required to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and have a regular presence in both temperature-controlled and uncontrolled manufacturing and warehouse environments. Frequent verbal interaction with people is essential. Specific details regarding the essential functions of the position are available in the Job Safety Analysis upon request. Food safety is a companywide responsibility, and every employee must understand their role in the manufacture and distribution of safe, wholesome, and high-quality products.

Salary Range: USD(19.76 – 23.08) per hour
