Job Description: Computer Science 3rd Year Intern – Generative AI and NLP
G-P seeks a talented and highly motivated Computer Science 3rd-year intern to join their Generative AI and NLP team. This is a 12-week, full-time, paid internship focused on developing cutting-edge AI technology.
Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with AI experts to develop and optimize generative AI and NLP models.
• Conduct research on state-of-the-art AI and NLP techniques and algorithms.
• Contribute to the design, implementation, and evaluation of novel AI and NLP solutions.
• Analyze and interpret data to improve model performance and efficiency.
• Assist in documenting and presenting research findings and project results.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to team goals and objectives.
• Execute automated and manual tests for AI systems, focusing on minimizing issues like hallucination.
• Work with AI engineers and data scientists to troubleshoot and optimize AI/ML models and pipelines.
Requirements:
• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Strong proficiency in Python programming with experience in relevant AI and NLP libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, NLTK, spaCy).
• Demonstrated passion for artificial intelligence, focusing on generative AI and NLP.
• Familiarity with machine learning algorithms and concepts (supervised/unsupervised learning, deep learning, neural networks).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to learn quickly and adapt to new technologies.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with cloud computing platforms (AWS, Google Cloud Platform, Azure).
• Knowledge of version control systems (Git) and software development methodologies (Agile).
• Previous experience with AI or NLP research or projects.
