About the Job:

Job Title: Computer Science 3rd Year Intern (Generative AI and NLP)

Job Description:

This is a 12-week, full-time, paid internship for a third-year Computer Science student. The intern will work within G-P’s Generative AI and NLP team, contributing to the development of cutting-edge AI technology.

Responsibilities include:

• Collaborating with AI experts to develop and optimize generative AI and NLP models.
• Conducting research on state-of-the-art AI and NLP techniques and algorithms.
• Contributing to the design, implementation, and evaluation of novel AI and NLP solutions.
• Analyzing and interpreting data to improve model performance and efficiency.
• Assisting in the documentation and presentation of research findings and project results.
• Participating in team meetings and contributing to team goals.
• Executing automated and manual tests for AI systems, focusing on minimizing issues like hallucination.
• Working with AI engineers and data scientists to troubleshoot and optimize AI/ML models and pipelines.

Requirements:

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Strong proficiency in Python programming, with experience in relevant AI and NLP libraries (TensorFlow, PyTorch, NLTK, spaCy).
• Demonstrated passion for artificial intelligence, focusing on generative AI and NLP.
• Familiarity with machine learning algorithms and concepts (supervised/unsupervised learning, deep learning, neural networks).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to learn quickly and adapt to new technologies.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with cloud computing platforms (AWS, Google Cloud Platform, Azure).
• Knowledge of version control systems (Git) and software development methodologies (Agile).
• Previous experience with AI or NLP research or projects.

Compensation: The annual gross base salary range for this position is $75,000 (prorated over 12 weeks).
