About the Role:

As a Community Specialist Intern for the Intel Ignite Boston program, you will play a crucial role in building and fostering a thriving community of innovators, entrepreneurs, and technology enthusiasts. You will be responsible for supporting the overall success of the program by engaging with the community, planning and executing events, and managing program logistics.

Key Responsibilities:

Community Engagement:
• Connect with members of the Intel Ignite Boston community and build relationships.
• Host and facilitate workshops, networking events, and other community gatherings.
• Promote program resources and initiatives to the community.
Event Planning and Execution:
• Assist in planning and executing program events, including speaker series, hackathons, and pitch competitions.
• Coordinate logistics for events, including venue selection, speaker recruitment, and marketing.
Program Management:
• Assist with the development and execution of program initiatives.
• Manage program logistics, including participant registration, communication, and data tracking.
• Provide support to program participants.
Marketing and Communications:
• Create and distribute marketing materials to promote Intel Ignite Boston and its events.
• Manage the program’s social media presence.

Qualifications:

• Pursuing a graduate degree in a related field, such as business, marketing, communications, or technology.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Experience with event planning and execution.
• Knowledge of community building and engagement strategies.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and social media platforms.
