Job Description: Community Partnership Manager Internship

This internship is part of the E-commerce’s Governance and Experience team, which focuses on ensuring a safe and trustworthy marketplace for users, sellers, and creators on TikTok Shop.

As a Community Partnership Manager Intern, you will be responsible for supporting the growth of celebrity and influencer brands and critical sellers on TikTok Shop. Your key responsibilities will include:

Supporting select influencers and celebrity brands: Ensuring a positive and brand-aligned experience for them on TikTok Shop.
Promoting transparency and understanding of policies: Educating influencers on TikTok Shop policies, guidelines, and best practices.
Collaborating cross-functionally: Working with various teams like Operations, Marketing, PR, Creative, Media, Events, Talent Relations, and Legal to identify opportunities and ensure seamless execution.
Facilitating effective communication: Acting as a point of contact for influencers and addressing their challenges or concerns promptly and diplomatically.
Coordinating influencer events: Managing logistics and maximizing engagement and collaboration during events.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

• Proven understanding of the social media landscape, platform standard methodologies, and consumer behaviors.
• Excellent judgment in managing external relationships with influencers, celebrities, agencies, and internal stakeholders.
• Track record of measuring metrics and KPIs against business objectives, leveraging data for insights and opportunities.
• Strong management capabilities and a willingness to take initiative.
• Experience working in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment.
• Attention to detail and the ability to switch between creative and analytical/strategic projects seamlessly.
• Proactive mindset with a focus on team efficiency and process improvement.
• Highly organized and able to manage multiple tasks and priorities efficiently.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience working with influencers or celebrity brands, especially in a social media or e-commerce setting.
• Proactive problem-solving skills to address challenges and ensure a positive experience.
• Experience in cross-functional collaboration, particularly with teams like Operations, Marketing, PR, Creative, Media, Events, Talent Relations, and Legal.
• Proven ability to act as an escalation point and handle concerns diplomatically.
• Experience in planning and executing influencer events with a focus on maximizing engagement and collaboration.
• Experience and strong interest in influencer marketing, social media platforms, or e-commerce.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively support influencers and celebrities.
