Job Description: Community Intern

This internship provides meaningful, skill-building tasks and projects designed to help interns gain experience, learn new skills, and prepare for future career opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Community Recruitment: Recruit community members within Her Campus, Spoon University, Campus Trendsetters, InfluenceHer Collective, and College Fashionista to facilitate community growth.
• Research & Strategy: Research influencer and college campus trends, and brainstorm new recruitment strategies.
• Content Creation: Craft copy for newsletters and create engaging social media content specifically for recruitment purposes.
• Event & Experiential Support: Provide support for various events and experiential projects, which includes sourcing talent leads, collaborating on main stage programming, and enhancing user experience.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate for this internship should possess the following:

• Current College Undergraduate: Must be currently enrolled as an undergraduate student.
• Skills: Demonstrated strong communication, organization, and strategic thinking skills.
• Technical Proficiency: Working knowledge of all Microsoft Office platforms.
• Work Ethic: Possess a hardworking, detail-oriented, efficient, and creative work ethic.
• Passion: Passionate about Her Campus Media’s mission.
• Interest Areas: A keen interest in community growth, social media content creation, marketing, and project management.
• Preferred: Being a Her Campus Community Member is preferred.

Additional Information & Requirements:

• Location & Availability: Remote internships are available year-round to current college students located in the United States.
• Schedule: Internships can be on a full-time or part-time basis, with flexible hours.
• Compensation: This is an unpaid internship, but it is offered for school credit.
• Legal Right to Work: Applicants must have the legal right to work in the United States without sponsorship, as Her Campus Media does not offer visa sponsorship for this position.
