Job Description:
This posting is for the Community College Internship (CCI) program at PNNL. The CCI program encourages undergraduate students and recent graduates to pursue STEM careers by providing research experiences at DOE laboratories. Selected students will work as interns under the guidance of laboratory staff scientists or engineers on projects supporting the DOE mission.
Interns will be appointed to one of 17 participating DOE laboratories/facilities, including PNNL.
Key responsibilities will include:
• Performing research on projects supporting the DOE mission.
• Working under the guidance of laboratory staff scientists or engineers.
Minimum Qualifications:
• Applicants must meet eligibility requirements established and verified by DOE-WDTS, listed here: https://science.osti.gov/wdts/cci/Eligibility
• Applicants must have a current application in the Workforce Development for Teachers and Scientists (WDTS) system.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen or Lawful Permanent Resident at the time of application.
