Job Description:

This posting is for the Community College Internship (CCI) program at PNNL. The CCI program, sponsored by the Department of Energy (DOE), aims to encourage undergraduate students and recent graduates to pursue careers in STEM fields (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics) by providing research experiences at DOE laboratories.

As a CCI intern at PNNL:

• You will be appointed as an intern at PNNL, one of the participating DOE laboratories.
• You will perform research under the guidance of PNNL staff scientists or engineers.
• Your research will support projects aligned with the DOE mission.

Minimum Qualifications (as determined and verified by DOE-WDTS):

• You must have a current application in the Workforce Development for Teachers and Scientist (WDTS) system.
• You must meet the eligibility requirements listed on the official DOE-WDTS website for the CCI program ([https://science.osti.gov/wdts/cci/Eligibility](https://science.osti.gov/wdts/cci/Eligibility)).
• You must be a U.S. Citizen or Lawful Permanent Resident at the time of application.
