Job Description:

This posting is for the Community College Internship (CCI) program at PNNL. The CCI program encourages undergraduate students and recent graduates to pursue science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) careers by providing research experiences at Department of Energy (DOE) laboratories.

Key aspects of the internship:

Research Experience: Selected students will participate as interns at PNNL, one of 17 participating DOE laboratories/facilities.
Project Focus: Interns will perform research under the guidance of laboratory staff scientists or engineers, on projects supporting the DOE mission.
Eligibility Requirements:

• Applicants must meet eligibility requirements established and verified by DOE-WDTS (Workforce Development for Teachers and Scientists).
• A current application in the WDTS system is required.

• Must be a U.S. Citizen or Lawful Permanent Resident at the time of application
Compensation: The hourly pay range for this position is $16.66 to $30.00 per hour, determined based on skills, qualifications, and experience.
