Communications Intern | Continental
The Tone:
This is an in-person internship at Continental, located in Clinton, MS. Continental is a leading tire manufacturer and industry specialist, founded in 1871, with significant global sales and employees across 54 countries. This role is crucial for supporting the Communications team, ensuring the smooth operation of internal and external communication efforts within the company’s Tires group sector. The intern will contribute to making mobility safer, smarter, and more sustainable through effective communication.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Social Media: Support the creation of social media content and manage the editorial calendar.
• Content Development: Prepare and edit stories for various internal and external platforms, including newsletters.
• Presentation Creation: Create and maintain professional PowerPoint presentations for communications needs.
• Information Management: Maintain communications boards around the plant and update company calendars.
• Data Entry: Manage databases by accurately inputting information, data, and records.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Currently enrolled as a student in an accredited local university program, pursuing a degree in Communications or related studies.
• Experience: Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required; no sponsorship will be provided. Must have housing in the local area and reliable transportation.
• Skills: Content creation, editorial support, presentation development, data management, and organizational abilities.
• Bonus: A GPA of 2.8 or higher is preferred.
