Commodity Trading Internship:

This internship program provides a unique opportunity to learn the ins and outs of the commodity trading world. You’ll gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, working alongside experienced professionals. As a Commodity Trading Intern, you’ll be involved in various aspects of the trading process, including:

Building Relationships: Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external customers, including country elevators, producers, feed mills, end users, and processors.
Market Analysis: Analyze supply and demand trends, survey market conditions, and assess other economic forces to help Cargill maintain and grow its market position.
Contract Negotiation: Initiate, negotiate, and agree on the terms of commodity purchase/sale contracts, including price, quality, quantity, transportation, timing, and payment.
Logistics Coordination: Coordinate transportation and logistics to ensure smooth execution of commodity contracts.
Contract Management: Ensure accurate and timely follow-up, execution, and closure of all contracts.
Communication & Collaboration: Communicate effectively with internal teams (sales, transportation, logistics, quality assurance, plant personnel, engineers, and accountants) and external customers.
Project Management: Complete and present a project that contributes to the work process, customer interaction, or market improvement.
Teamwork & Development: Collaborate on other projects and assignments, and receive support and guidance from mentors and colleagues.
