Description: Commercially Enabled Intelligence (CEI) Analyst

Location: Williston, VT (requires full-time, on-site support)

About the Role:

This role is within the GPS Advisory Investigations and Intelligence (I&I) practice, specifically the Commercially Enabled Intelligence (CEI) group. The CEI group at Deloitte is comprised of highly skilled investigators and intelligence specialists with extensive experience in due diligence, litigation support, fraud, and other investigations. The team conducts thorough research and analysis to fill information gaps on individuals, entities, and networks for clients in the Intelligence Community (IC), federal law enforcement, and civilian agencies.

Responsibilities:

• Perform open-source intelligence analysis and research using investigative tools and databases to support federal investigations and prosecutions.

Currently pursuings:

• Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in International Relations/Affairs, Public Affairs or Public Policy, Criminal Justice, or Political Science.
• Ability to obtain and maintain the required security clearance for this role.
• Minimum of 2 years continuous experience in social media and open source information research, commercially enabled intelligence, targeting, and analysis.
• Foreign language proficiency in Spanish is strongly desired.
• Experience with due diligence investigations, immigration, and border security is preferred.
• Working knowledge of immigration and criminal justice laws, regulations, and policies is essential.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship.

What You’ll Do:

• Gather and analyze information from a variety of sources, including commercial databases, open source and public records, social media, and visualization tools.
• Develop “targeting” packages to uncover direct and circumstantial evidence.
• Fuse information with client-specific data, including law enforcement sensitive (LES) and classified holdings.
• Contribute to the development of finished intelligence products and visual network analysis.
• Assist in providing in-depth insights and actionable intelligence into adversaries’ illicit actions, capabilities, and intentions.
• Collaborate with clients to ensure their needs are met and intelligence is used effectively.
