Job Description:

Wells Fargo is seeking talented individuals for their 2026 Commercial Banking Summer Internship Program – Early Careers, located in Minneapolis, MN. This is a 10-week structured program designed for undergraduate students interested in gaining experience in Commercial Banking.

Program Overview:

• The internship provides hands-on experience within Commercial Banking, exposing interns to Wells Fargo’s operations, business strategies, and culture.
• The program emphasizes professional development, skill acquisition, community involvement, networking, and analytical training.
• The internship includes an Induction Week with onboarding and training, networking opportunities, and insights from top leaders.
• Interns will work within a high-performing team, building analytical skills and understanding key processes.
• Professional support is provided through experienced employees who will serve as resources and coaches.
• A virtual speaker series features Wells Fargo leaders sharing insights on making the most of the summer experience and discussing trends in the financial services industry.
• Organized networking activities promote community involvement and connections with peers and employees across Wells Fargo.

In This Role, You Will:

• Participate in formal internship program activities, workshops, and initiatives.
• Complete assignments related to low-to-medium complexity tasks, familiarizing yourself with policies and procedures.
• Conduct research and financial analysis to assess client needs and identify optimal Wells Fargo products and services.
• Partner with relationship managers, product specialists, and credit underwriters to support business efforts.
• Receive direction from a manager and exercise independent judgment while developing knowledge of compliance and risk management.
• Prioritize work, pay attention to detail, meet deadlines, and work under pressure.

Program Duration:

• 10 weeks, June-August 2026 (exact dates TBD and subject to change)

• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Required Qualifications, US: 6+ months of work experience, or equivalent.

Desired Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree with an expected graduation date between December 2026 or May/June 2027. All majors welcome.
• Intermediate Microsoft Office skills.
• Involvement in extracurricular enrichment activities.
• Proven ability to work effectively, as well as independently, in a collaborative, change driven atmosphere.
• Demonstrated knowledge, interest and/or experience in finance, accounting, and sales

Pay Range (Minneapolis, MN):

• $36.06/hr
