Job Description: College Student Agriculture Intern
• Overview: Full-time internship program designed for college students with a passion for agriculture. Offers exposure to various departments within a John Deere dealership.
• Departments: Rotations through parts, sales, service, and integrated solutions.
• Responsibilities:
• Sales: Collaborate with remarketing, create video marketing, shadow sales professionals during customer interactions and equipment appraisals.
• Integrated Solutions: Explore John Deere’s Precision Agriculture products, learn about digital tools like Operations Center and JDLink Mobile, and understand embedded John Deere technology.
• Parts: Master the Parts Expert system, assist with inventory management, and help merchandise the showroom for promotional events.
• Service: Support service technicians in machine assembly, conducting service inspections, and familiarizing yourself with service processes and tools like Service Advisor.
• Reporting: Reports to the Location Manager.
• Final Project: Present a final report to senior management team, highlighting experiences, completed projects, and suggestions for improving the internship program.

Minimum Qualifications:
• Current college student in the process of obtaining an associate or bachelor’s degree
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Agricultural knowledge or experience is preferred but not required
