  • Receive support to obtain Risk Product State Licensing: Life, Accident, and Health.

As a Northwestern Mutual College Financial Representative, you can expect a flexible schedule designed to accommodate your academic commitments. The program offers the option to participate year-round, allowing you to continually grow your practice and receive support for additional registrations and certifications such as the Series 6 & 63 or CFP®. Eligible students also have the opportunity to interview for a full-time Financial Representative or Advisor role upon graduation.

Important Notes:

Northwestern Mutual College Financial Representatives are considered Independent Contractors for income tax purposes and “statutory employees” for Federal Insurance Contributions Act (FICA) tax purposes. Income is based on production. Approval for an intern contract requires a national criminal background check. Should the background check results provide information that would not allow someone to work for Northwestern Mutual, approval to contract will be withdrawn.

Salary Range:

USD $500.00 – USD $1,000.00 /Yr.
