Interns, from diverse academic backgrounds, will gain guidance, connection, and hands-on experience. You will learn to build a practice while leveraging local and nationwide experts, accessing exclusive financial products, and benefiting from the support of a Fortune 500 company. Responsibilities
This internship mirrors our full-time Financial Representative career, offering a comprehensive learning experience:
• Learn to prospect and network effectively to build your business and client base.
• Develop and execute a robust business strategy.
• Initiate contact with potential clients and set meetings to understand their financial goals.
• Prepare detailed financial plans and offer useful recommendations.
• Gain exposure to proprietary planning software platforms.
• Engage in weekly coaching, training, and development meetings.
• Receive support for Risk Product State Licensing: Life, Accident, and Health.
• Build essential life skills that create future career opportunities.
The program offers a flexible schedule to accommodate your academic life and classes, with the option to participate year-round. You can continue to grow your practice and receive support for advanced registrations and certifications such as the Series 6 & 63 or CFP®. Interns are encouraged to get inspired at local and national recognition events, earn access to leadership programs, and collaborate with industry experts. Eligible students will also have the opportunity to interview for a full-time Financial Representative or Advisor role upon graduation.
Qualifications

• Must be a full-time student; juniors and seniors are preferred.

• Highly involved on campus (e.g., leader, athlete, campus organizations, student government).

• Exhibit business savvy and a desire to increase critical thinking abilities.

• Performance-based earnings and revenue.
