Job Description: College Financial Representative Internship

This internship program provides guidance, connection, and a framework for building an integrated financial planning practice. College Financial Representatives build a financial planning practice while engaging with experts, utilizing financial products, and receiving support from a Fortune 500 company.

Responsibilities:

• Learn how to prospect and network to build your business and client base.
• Develop and execute on a business strategy.
• Contact potential clients and schedule meetings to understand their financial goals.
• Prepare financial plans and offer recommendations.
• Gain exposure to proprietary planning software platforms.
• Participate in weekly coaching, training, and development meetings.
• Obtain Risk Product State Licensing: Life, Accident, and Health.
• Build life skills that create future career opportunities.

Qualifications:

• Full-time student; juniors and seniors preferred.

• Excellent time-management skills.
• Interest in financial literacy and planning tools.
• Business savvy and a desire to increase critical thinking abilities.
