Department/Position Description: IT Solutions Engineering for Distribution & Transportation

The IT Solutions Engineering department for Distribution and Transportation is at the forefront of designing, delivering, and supporting the critical technology platforms that power our extensive supply chain operations. Our dedicated team is responsible for developing and maintaining advanced warehouse management systems, robust transportation solutions, and seamless integration platforms, all to ensure goods move efficiently and reliably throughout our network.

By merging technical expertise with profound business knowledge, we enable automation, scalability, and resilience across our distribution centers and logistics operations. Our ultimate goal is to ensure that IT solutions are perfectly aligned with business priorities, consistently driving operational excellence.

Co-op Role & Responsibilities:

This co-op provides an exceptional opportunity to learn firsthand how IT infrastructure powers large-scale supply chain operations. As an integral part of the IT Solutions Engineering team, you will collaborate closely with experienced engineers who will guide you through real-world projects focusing on warehouse and transportation systems. You will gain invaluable hands-on experience with troubleshooting, system testing, and documenting solutions, while acquiring deep insights into how technology maintains the smooth operation of our entire distribution network.

Qualifications:

  • Currently working towards a degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Familiarity with at least one programming or scripting language (e.g., Java, Python, SQL) demonstrated through coursework or personal projects.
  • An understanding of systems analysis, databases, or the software development lifecycle, gained from academic studies or previous internship experience.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues methodically.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills, coupled with an eagerness to learn from peers and actively contribute to team discussions.

Compensation:

Individual cohort pay rates vary based on location, academic year, and position.

For the IL/MA/MD Salary Range: $22.80 – $37.30 per hour.

(Also noted: ME/NC/PA/SC Salary Range: $20.90 – $35.70)
