Job Description:
This is a full-time, 40-hour per week Co-Op position for the Fall 2024 semester. This is the first rotation out of a total of 2-3 rotations. The position will be domiciled in New Berlin, WI.
As a Co-Op, you will have the opportunity to:
• Gain hands-on experience: You will be involved in real-world projects, working alongside experienced professionals in your field of study.
• Develop your skills: You will enhance your skills in areas such as research, analysis, project management, and communication.
• Build your network: You will participate in networking and community service events, connecting with other professionals and expanding your professional network.
Responsibilities:
• Support and plan work on small projects under the direction of management.
• Assist management and other department personnel in supporting larger projects, including managing project schedules and status reporting.
• Learn and potentially assume the duties normally performed within the department, working alongside professionals.
• Collaborate with various departments and/or vendors to gather information for projects.
• Present project results to management and/or department personnel.
• Perform analytical work within the assigned functional area.
• Conduct research using the internet and other sources of information.
• Create or update systems or databases for specific department needs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
• Minimum of one year of education at an accredited college, university, or technical school (must be currently enrolled).
• For Legal Interns: Must be currently enrolled in an accredited College/University law program and have completed the first year.
• Strong software skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office software and web-based applications.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD software may be required for some positions.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of communicating effectively with all levels of management.
• Time management, organizational, and multi-tasking skills to work in a fast-paced environment, handling various tasks and changing priorities while maintaining a high attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to analyze, review, and make recommendations.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Major in Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, or an Engineering-related field.
Compensation:
• $25.00 – $30.00/hour
