WeOut is an early-stage travel startup with its Minimum Viable Product (MVP) fully built, launch planned, and real-world beta testing already underway. It is in the exciting phase just before significant growth, actively building its early community and marketing channels. Role Title: Co-Founder, Travel UGC & Community Growth Lead

Who they’re looking for:
WeOut is seeking a travel-focused UGC (User-Generated Content) creator who is passionate about travel and storytelling through social content. The ideal candidate understands the creator economy and what drives content conversion, with experience in building engaged communities on platforms such as TikTok, Instagram, and/or YouTube. This role is perfect for someone excited to join a startup at an early stage, take significant ownership, and contribute to building a product for travelers rather than just creating posts or managing brand deals. They are looking for a creator with vision and entrepreneurial energy.

What you’ll own (Responsibilities):
As a Co-Founder, Travel UGC & Community Growth Lead, you will:
• Lead the social content strategy, encompassing TikTok, Instagram Reels, general UGC, storytelling, and trend research.
• Represent the “travel creator perspective” at the product development table, ensuring the product meets the needs and desires of content creators and travelers.
• Build an early community of travelers and campus travelers even before the official launch.
• Develop UGC-style content that effectively showcases the value and utility of WeOut in authentic travel situations.
• Support the go-to-market launch strategy across the U.S. and key international tourist hubs.
• Collaborate directly with the founder on key aspects such as growth initiatives, brand development, and strategic partnerships.

Preferred Experience:
While extensive experience isn’t required, WeOut is looking for candidates with:
• 1–5 years of experience in UGC creation or social content production.
• A portfolio showcasing past travel, lifestyle, or community-focused content.
• Familiarity with effective TikTok and Instagram growth strategies.
• (Bonus) Experience in organizing trips, group events, or fostering community spaces.
• (Bonus) An existing audience of travel lovers, digital nomads, or individuals within study-abroad communities.
