Description: CNN International Show Teams Internships (Summer 2025):

These internships offer a chance to experience the daily production of international newscasts at CNN International. Interns will work within a small, dynamic team producing news and business shows distributed globally. The roles are based in NYC and run for 11 weeks (two options for start and end dates: June 2nd – August 15th or June 9th – August 22nd). The internship is a paid opportunity ($19/hour for undergraduate interns, $25/hour for graduate interns) with a hybrid work schedule (35-40 hours/week). Relocation is not provided.

Responsibilities (may vary slightly by specific role):

• Participate in daily and planning meetings.
• Transcribe audio tapes.
• Identify and utilize video and CNN databases.
• Write for broadcast, collaborating with producers from story inception to final package.
• Book and greet show guests.
• Assist with basic administrative tasks.

Currently pursuings:

Essential Requirements (across all roles):
• Active enrollment in a U.S.-accredited college or university degree program for the internship duration (proof required).
• Rising junior, senior, or graduate student (18 years or older).
• Good academic standing (3.0 GPA or above).
• Current authorization to work in the U.S. without requiring visa sponsorship from WBD.
Additional Skills (varied across roles, but beneficial): Strong writing, research, and communication skills.

Application Process:

Applications are due by Friday, February 28th, but may close earlier due to high volume. Interviews will be conducted from February to mid-April. WBD will contact applicants whose experience and interest align with open positions. Due to high application volume, individual status updates cannot be provided.
