Job Description
The Cluster Area Manager is responsible for the overall management of operations for all sites assigned to this area, ensuring the team provides world-class service to partners, clients and suppliers at these sites. The Cluster Area Manager reports to the Regional Operations Manager and supervises a team of Audiovisual Site Managers in the Ile-de-France region.
Key Responsibilities:
• Account Management: Develop and maintain strong client relationships, provide exceptional customer service, and focus on customer retention. Identify key issues that will influence contract renewals. Serve as a point of visibility for events and act as an escalation point if needed.
• Financial Management and Reporting: Ensure sites operate efficiently and profitably, with a focus on maximizing revenue and profitability using cost control measures in line with the company’s standard operating procedures. Complete and analyze reports and budgets to effectively manage business activity.
• Operations Management: Supervise sites to ensure daily operations are carried out. Maintain an overview by analyzing timelines and available resources (labor and equipment) to optimize operations. Meet with site management to review upcoming events, problem-solving, operational feasibility and budgets for all assigned sites.
• Equipment and Information Management: Provide equipment needs analysis to submit appropriate investment requests (CAPEX). Ensure management team effectively uses all company IT systems and software, providing support as needed.
• Sales Management: Ensure sales forecasts are accurate and reports are submitted timely. Stay abreast of new product and service offerings in meeting and event technology. Collaborate with Sales teams on sales strategies.
• Customer Service: Offer world-class service by cultivating and maintaining relationships with clients, site teams, and various Encore support functions and services. Lead sites to exceed the expectations and needs of internal and external clients.
• Team Management: Embrace and promote the company’s core values. Serve as a liaison between the Regional Operations Manager and Site Managers. Value employees. Encourage and provide personalized, ongoing coaching to develop team member skills. Collaborate with the Regional Operations Manager and HR to develop training and career development action plans.
Professional Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent required, Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in audiovisual.
• 5+ years of experience in sales and customer service.
• 5+ years of experience in supervision and operational management in the audiovisual field.
• Strong relationship management skills.
• Keen sense of finance, sales planning, forecasting, and customer relationship management.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to support growth initiatives.
• Proficiency in using computer hardware.
• Proficiency in computer software and programs, including the Internet and Microsoft Office.
• Leadership abilities and a focus on customer satisfaction and people development.
