Job Description: Cloud GTM Strategy and Operations Intern
This internship is with the Cloud GTM Strategy and Operations team, which works closely with Salesforce Product executives to drive the go-to-market (GTM) strategy for their expanding product portfolio. This role combines aspects of strategic planning, sales strategy, finance, and analytics, requiring a strong mix of market and business analysis, sales optimization, and operational support.
Responsibilities:
• Data Analysis & Reporting: Design and maintain performance dashboards, analyze business performance, develop ad-hoc data analyses for presentations, and monitor key performance metrics.
• Operational Support: Troubleshoot operational issues, propose system/process improvements, and provide insights and recommendations to sales and product leadership.
• Strategic Initiatives: Contribute to strategic initiatives like product expansion, white space analysis, new product launches, and pipeline management.
• GTM Optimization: Evaluate the effectiveness of the GTM model and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Reporting & Dashboards: Build reports and dashboards in Salesforce.com, Google Sheets, and Tableau.
• Process Enhancements: Support Salesforce process enhancements, modifications, and best practices development.
Qualifications:
• Current Junior/Rising Senior: Planning to graduate Spring/Summer 2026 (all majors welcome, business-related majors preferred).
• GPA: 3.5 or above.
• Coursework: Completed courses in data analysis, economics, strategy, advanced mathematics, or statistics.
• Skills: Strong Excel/Google Sheets modeling skills, PowerPoint/Google Slides presentation skills, experience with Tableau or database querying (SQL, Oracle).
• Experience: Analyzing large datasets and distilling actionable insights, structuring complex problems, developing solutions, and crafting project plans.
• Communication: Excellent communication skills to communicate complex information effectively to various audiences, including executives.
• Teamwork: Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Other: Complex problem-solving abilities, willingness to go above and beyond, intellectual curiosity, detail-orientation, and a drive to make an impact.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Statistics: Basic understanding and experience applying statistics to business problems.
• Data Access: Comfortable accessing data across diverse platforms.
• Performance Metrics: Experience analyzing or building reporting related to key performance metrics.
• Dashboard Development: Experience developing dashboards or performing analysis, collaborating with stakeholders, and building solutions using an iterative approach.
• Cloud Computing: Passion for cloud computing and the social enterprise.
