Job Summary:

North 40 Outfitters is seeking an enthusiastic and authentic Full-Time Clothing Associate to join our team in Mead, WA. We believe that every team member is crucial to our success, and we are looking for individuals who are passionate about our lifestyle and embody the principle of “service before self.” As a Clothing Associate, you will be a key contributor to the overall customer experience, playing a vital role in sales, merchandising, and maintaining a welcoming store environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide outstanding, phenomenal customer service, ensuring a positive experience for every North 40 guest.
• Engage customers, generate sales, and suggest products relevant to their needs and interests.
• Execute stocking and merchandising tasks, ensuring the clothing department is visually appealing and well-organized.
• Maintain a clean, tidy, and organized department at all times.
• Safeguard company assets by adhering to security protocols and procedures.
• Educate and assist customers regarding the various brands and products sold by North 40.

Work Schedule:

This is a full-time position requiring flexibility in scheduling based on business needs. Shifts will fall within the following business hours:

• Monday – Saturday: 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• Sunday: 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM

The role requires the ability to work all scheduled shifts, including weekends and certain holidays.

• Merchandising Experience: Previous merchandising experience is helpful, but not required.
• Product Knowledge: Ability to educate and assist customers on the brands that North 40 sells.
• Physical Requirements:
  • Understanding of correct lifting and loading techniques.
  • Physical ability to lift and carry 0-15 lbs. continuously.
  • Physical ability to lift and carry 15-30 lbs. frequently.
  • Physical ability to lift and carry 30-55 lbs. occasionally.
  • Ability to team lift anything over 55 lbs.
  • Spending 100% of work time on your feet, which includes using ladders, rolling staircases, and pallet jacks.
