Job Description:

This position is for a role within the Nursing Administration Department at Ascension Saint Thomas West in Nashville, TN.

Schedule: The role offers flexible 12-hour shifts.

Responsibilities:
The individual in this role will primarily operate in a training capacity, performing various clinical department-specific responsibilities and tasks. Key duties include:
• Performing work assignments directly linked to the clinical department’s projects and goals.
• Executing functions within the defined scope of authority as outlined by the manager.
• Organizing and prioritizing work assignments effectively, while promptly raising any questions or issues.
• Participating and collaborating with others on clinical projects when requested.

Requirements:

Licensure / Certification / Registration:
BLS Provider (Basic Life Support) certification is required. This must be obtained within 1 month (30 days) of the hire date or job transfer date. Certifications from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross are accepted.

Education:
• A High school diploma/GED is required.
• Enrollment in a degreed program specific to the discipline of the role is preferred.
