Job Description:
The Clinical Tech Intern works under the supervision of a nurse, taking into consideration the developmental needs of the patient. The intern performs routine patient activities and delegated patient care procedures of a specialized and technical nature, as competency documentation designates.
Responsibilities:
• Performs routine patient activities under the supervision of a nurse.
• Performs delegated patient care procedures of a specialized and technical nature, as competency documentation designates.
• Considers the developmental needs of the patient when providing care.
• Supports nursing personnel with patient care activities and related services focused on the needs and comfort of patients.
• Remains in an intern role for no longer than 1 year.
• Advances to the PCT I upon meeting training requirements.

Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Active Nursing Assistant Certification (CNA) in Maryland is required.
• Entry-level knowledge of basic clinical skills required to support nursing personnel with patient care activities and related services focused on the needs and comfort of patients.
• BLS CPR certification required: AHA, Red Cross, or Military Training Network accepted.

• Salary Range: Minimum $17.00/hour – Maximum $ 17.00/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.
