This is an internship at Sandstone Care, located in Castle Rock, CO. Sandstone Care operates a behavioral health treatment program specializing in helping adolescents and young adults overcome substance use, mental health, and mood disorders. • Mission: This person supports adolescents and young adults in their recovery from substance use and mental health disorders by providing direct clinical support and maintaining high standards of care.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Support: Play a crucial role in supporting clients’ recovery journeys.
• Contribute: Contribute to client treatment goals within a multidisciplinary setting.
• Facilitate: Facilitate individual, group, and family therapy sessions under direct supervision.
• Document: Complete high-quality clinical documentation, paperwork, and billing responsibilities, meeting all required timelines.
• Coordinate: Coordinate care effectively with clients, their families, and other providers.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Currently enrolled in a 2nd-year master’s degree program in counseling or social work, seeking a clinical internship.
• Experience: Availability to commit 15-20 hours per week, including at least one evening per week, with a desire to contribute to a supportive, client-centered treatment environment.
• Skills: Commitment to excellence in clinical documentation, professionalism and self-awareness, strong communication skills, dedication to ethical practice and supervision, and a passion for therapeutic work.
