About the Role: Client Services Intern

As a Client Services Intern, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our clients leverage our software to its fullest potential, maximizing their impact. This position offers a unique opportunity to grow as a technical problem solver, a critical thinker, and a thoughtful communicator. You’ll be supported to learn and contribute, with encouragement to take on larger projects and become a leader within the team. The minimum duration for this enriching internship is 9 months.

What You’ll Do: Key Responsibilities & Learning Outcomes

• Build confidence in communication: Clearly and professionally engage with clients, teammates, and stakeholders.
Support day-to-day client needs: Answer questions, troubleshoot issues, escalate software bugs, and contribute to positive client experiences.
• Apply your technical curiosity and problem-solving skills to find thoughtful, effective solutions using Foundant’s software tools.
• Master client engagement channels: Professionally interact through phone calls, chats, and emails.
• Expand sector understanding: Grow your knowledge of the philanthropic sector and technology’s key role in driving meaningful impact.
Collaborate effectively: Work with a supportive, fun team of fellow students and early-career professionals in a team-first environment.
• Gain hands-on software experience: Work with Foundant’s full suite of software products while developing versatile skills that will give you a strong edge in your next opportunity.

What You’ll Need: Qualifications & Attributes

Currently enrolled in an accredited academic program (college, university, or equivalent).
• Open to students from all areas of study; diverse perspectives and backgrounds are valued and welcomed.
• Ability to commit to 20+ hours per week, Monday through Friday, with a flexible schedule coordinated around team and organizational needs.
• Willingness to engage in a 9-month or longer service term, with potential to extend for the right candidate.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, and a desire to gain real-world experience supporting clients and working with software tools.
• A collaborative mindset, eagerness to learn, and motivation to grow in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Considered an Asset: Coursework or interest in fields such as Accounting, Computer Science, or Communications.
